Happy New Year!
With our tummies still full from Christmas feasting New Year is a great time to sit back and reflect on the year... mainly because movement is currently out of the question.
The festive lights may be dimming and we are well into the season of long dark nights so it's good to have something bright to focus on.
So whether you're pulling out a new planner or just looking for some better habits here are a few things to keep in mind
1- Planning should make your day easier... not be a chore
2- Find a place to keep your planner or other necessary items that makes them easier to use than not. As a general rule if it's more than 20 seconds out of your way- its too far!
3- Keep it simple. Simple. Smaller. Less... and consistent
4- Know what you're trying to achieve. Have a goal. Keep revisiting it- and make sure you're heading in the right direction.
5- Progress is not linear. Don't be hard on yourself.
6- Remember that you plan the future but you're living now. Build in time for relaxation, fun and planning should not preclude living.
But most importantly, have a wonderful 2024.
